Seasonal nonstop Miami flight to debut at T.F. Green Airport in Dec.

PROVIDENCE- American Airlines has added a seasonal nonstop flight from T.F. Green Airport to Miami that will be offered starting on Dec. 19, 2018, according to the R.I. Airport Corp. Monday.

The new service will operate seasonally, where flights will be offered daily through April 1, 2019. Between Jan.6 and Feb. 4, flights will depart only from Thursday through Monday.

The Miami flight is offered on an Airbus 319 plane.

“The introduction of service from Providence to American’s Miami hub is a big win for those looking for an escape this winter,” said Tyler Duvall, American’s general manager for Providence in a statement. “With this new route, we are now able to connect people to hundreds of destinations around the world; including unprecedented access to our gateway to Latina American and the Caribbean.”
