PROVIDENCE – Tia Bush has moved on from her role as Amgen Inc.’s vice president of site operations, Rhode Island and Woburn, Mass., to take on the role of senior vice president of quality at the company’s California headquarters, according to Amgen Monday.

Bush has been replaced by Thomas Seewoester, effective immediately. He has worked for Amgen since 2001, most recently serving as the company’s executive director of manufacturing.

“Thomas brings tremendous experience and leadership to Amgen Rhode Island and Woburn and our focus and strategy remains the same in supporting our mission to serve every patient,” the company told PBN Monday in a statement.

Bush was recently awarded the Strategic Leadership Award at PBN’s fifth annual Manufacturing Awards in March.
