PROVIDENCE – The Social Greenhouse Enterprise announced a new cohort in its Impact Accelerator Thursday.
The cohort consists of 13 enterprises which will participate in the 12-week program. The program is designed to help social enterprises be successful and sustainable.
During the program the enterprises will receive one-on-one business coaching, a peer-learning cohort model and access to SEG’s co-working space at 10 Davol Square, Providence.
The cohort consist of:
- 1 PVD Cycling – Promotes a broader sense of community and healthy lifestyle through cycling
- The Art of Fate – An inclusive and socially conscious fashion and wellness house for emerging brands
- DDBe Productions – Provides services to support Rhode Island artists
- Hope Scholars Initiative – Works to validate hip hop culture as an integral part of a student’s academic experience
- Innate Five – Works to create a healthier, engaged workplace culture
- Jessica Ricci Jewelry – Creates and sells art made from cultural artifacts
- Kai’s Kloset – Purveyor of clothing and accessories by individual artists from recycled materials
- The Key – A yoga-based wellness program for inside prisons
- One Gun Gone – Turns guns from the street into art and uses the profits to purchase more guns for art
- Refuge Impact Investments – Invests in refugee-owned and run businesses
- The Sweet Home Project RI – Nonprofit that furnishes and decorates low-income family homes with donated furniture and funds
- Violet’s Village – Educates youths about the history of Africa, promotes organic living, arts and community engagement
- Zarephath Water Enterprise – Will provide healthy drinking water to Nigeria using solar and wind power
The accelerator will culminate with a pitch event on Thursday, May 30.
