The gamble paid off for the Warwick-based provider of audiovisual multimedia presentation systems, especially when the business was deemed an essential services provider.
“We benefitted when schools and companies had to function remotely. We installed equipment that they needed to do Teams, Zoom calls and more,” Gamst said.
Revenue grew 124.3%, from $3.6 million in 2021 to $8.1 million in 2023. Gamst said because the company didn’t lay off workers, it didn’t have to scramble to get employees back.
He’s cautiously optimistic about the economy. CCS, he says, just needs to stay the course, including taking care of customers, and remain guided by the company’s philosophy.
“Treat every day as a battle to get the business because you have competitors,” Gamst said.
