BRISTOL – Developers of The Belvedere Hotel, an 18-unit, mixed-use project in Bristol, have chosen Providence’s Stonestreet Corp. to market and lease the building.
The company will be responsible for directing residential sales and leasing, as well as managing the 6,000 square feet of commercial space, 423 Hope Street Redevelopment LLC and Stonestreet announced last week.
“We are thrilled to include one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Bristol to our growing portfolio of luxury residential properties,” Stonestreet Director of Sales Kevin O’Leary said.
The hotel, built in 1901, was commissioned by shipbuilder John Brown Herreshoff. The first building at the $20 million development opened in May 2008. The project, which will include four buildings and take up a block, straddles the Downtown Historic District and the Waterfront Historic District, developer James W. Roiter said earlier this year.
Newport Collaborative Architects Inc. served as designers for the project, built by Providence-based Nappa Building Corp.
