Student receives scholarship for broadcast degree

LIN TV Corp. announced Stacie L. Thompson as the recipient of its 2007 Minority Scholarship and Training Program. A junior in the fall at the University of Missouri, she will receive a two-year scholarship, worth up to $20,000 per year, for tuition, fees, books and room and board. LIN TV will also provide Thompson with hands-on broadcast training through a paid summer internship.
