PROVIDENCE – Studio Meja, an architecture firm, has rebranded as Signal Works and recently attained B-Corp. designation, the firm announced.

The B-Corp. designation is a measurement of companies that have met rigorous standards for social and environmental responsibility, including a 200-question assessment that evaluates performance across five areas, including workers and the environment.

The company plans to use the new certification to help reach customers who want a people-focused, place-based and purpose-driven architectural firm, according to Eric Army, the founder and company CEO.
