WARWICK – T.F. Green Airport is one of 20 airports nationwide nominated as “Best Small Airport” for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice 2020 awards.

Readers will be able to vote on the choice awards for four weeks. Winners of the award will be announced on Jan. 24. Voting concludes Jan. 13.

“We are certainly pleased to be nominated and hope voters, particularly Rhode Island voters, will support T.F. Green for our convenience and as an access point to the new airlines that have joined us these past few years,” said Iftikhar Ahmad, Rhode Island Airport Corp. CEO and president.

As of 11 a.m. on Dec. 17, T.F. Green was in fifth place in voting.

“Loyal fans of T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island love it as an alternative to Boston Logan for its lack of crowds and lines and quick access to Providence and Boston via a dedicated train station. It’s also an excellent option for travelers heading to Cape Cod,” said USA Today on T.F. Green’s voting page.

Voters are allowed to vote online once per day until the end of the competition.
