TANTARA Corporation New Hire Expands Capabilities

Worcester, MA – TANTARA Corporation is proud to announce Alicia Carriero has joined the firm and plans to assist this 8(a) environmental / heavy civil construction firm in servicing clients and driving new business initiatives.
Alicia had previously been with Sovereign Consulting, where she worked for seven years as a field scientist and safety coordinator for federal programs. At TANTARA, Alicia’s role as Safety Coordinator will involve tracking physicals and certifications, as well as managing annual training sessions and performing field activities. TANTARA’s business development efforts will also be enhanced through Alicia’s efforts to assist management broaden the firm’s client base.
Alicia’s previous work history involves well sampling, excavation oversight, groundwater mapping, various forms of drilling, as well as other field activities. She has worked on Shell Oil project sites throughout New England overseeing drilling and sampling operations. Her federal work includes several large-scale projects at the former Fort Devens in Massachusetts, the USACE’s Cold Regions Research & Engineering Lab (CRREL) in New Hampshire, and the Newport Naval Facility in Rhode Island where she was involved with landfill and groundwater treatment system projects.
