Tech 911 goes public, offers IT support

WARWICK – Computer-service center Tech 911 will now be offering IT support to the public after opening its doors at 990 West Shore Road this month.

Christopher Dias, owner, has been running Tech 911 as a business-to-business service company with more than 150 clients from New Jersey to Massachusetts. With the expansion, Dias said, the company has hired three new employees. The company is now offering walk-in and home-service computer repairs for consumers.

“The demand for us to expand our business to the public was overwhelming,” said Dias in a press release. “We are extremely excited to offer our personalized money-saving service to our friends and neighbors in Rhode Island.”

Three-year-old Tech 911 opened its doors to the public on Sept. 22 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian. The Tech 911 Service Center will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
