What modifications have you made to your workplace to support employee wellness? During the various outbreaks over the last couple of years, we prioritized everyone’s safety by working remotely as much as possible. We enrolled as a testing center to be sure that we weren’t getting each other sick. Additionally, we changed from a fully in-person office to a hybrid workplace where employees can opt to work remotely for up to four days a week.

Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We always try and promote from within. We give employees opportunities to continually grow and build on their skill set and take on leadership roles.

What was a new employee benefit(s) or initiative(s) in the past 12 months? To become a more flexible workplace, we’ve added a flex time component in which an employee can take a few hours away from work without losing their paid time off.
