Two artist/developers are turning one of the Woonasquatucket River mills – the former Easter Butcher Block Corp. property – into affordable studio space for the area’s young – and struggling – artists. If it is successful, it may be the final catalyst needed to create a self-sustaining economic environment in Providence’s Valley and Olneyville neighborhoods.
