What three words best describe your staff? Highly skilled, dedicated, culturally competent.
How has your company adapted programs and services in response to evolving pandemic-related challenges such as staff burnout and workforce shortages? As the health care provider for more than 60,000 Rhode Islanders, we have taken every step to ensure our staff felt safe and cared for over the past 2½ years. This included the availability of online and virtual mental health resources.
How would you describe the culture of your workplace? Our culture is defined by a can-do spirit that has allowed us to care for the community despite the challenges of a pandemic. It is a culture that recognizes the diversity of our patients and staff.
What role does diversity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? We are proud to be home to a Diversity & Inclusion Committee that celebrates different backgrounds and cultures of our patients, staff and community.
