PAWTUCKET – Where can you find artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics, autonomous technology and 3-D tech all in one place, along with food trucks and live music?
Ocean Inno Tech Fest, hosted by co-working space Red DWG Library of Pawtucket, will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, at McCoy Stadium. Tickets are on sale now.
Billed as a day for investors, gamers, startups, students, recruiters, companies and innovative thinkers, Red DWG Library looks to promote global awareness about small and large tech companies, organizers say. Events include food trucks, demonstrations, panel discussions, live music, workshops, drone races, gaming, networking, recruiting, hackathons and more.
Hasbro Inc. is the event’s main sponsor.
Ocean Inno Tech Fest speakers include Jennifer Preston, Hasbro global vice president of digital technology, with Nikki Groom as master of ceremonies and opening statements from Pawtucket Mayor Donald R. Grebien. Speakers are from companies including FM Global, Cox Communications, Dassault Systemes, BetaXAnalytics, MIT, NASA and many others.
Thousands are expected to attend. Strategic partners for the event are Tech Collective, MassChallenge and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.
