What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Tides staff members enjoy costume contests, ugly sweater day, Providence Bruins outings, local music events, employee appreciation meals, a basketball tournament, axe throwing, a talent contest, and monthly raffles for prizes. What modifications have you made to your workplace to support employee wellness? Tides has invested in a wellness program that grants all of our staff members access to our online wellness platform and employee wellness challenges. We offer free massages and reiki during the workday, and support the use of mental health days off as needed. As the weather gets warmer, we have planned to revive our walking club and will also offer free outdoor yoga sessions for our staff members.
Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We promote all positions internally prior to posting publicly and incorporate an experience differential into our salary range specifically to demonstrate the value we place on our talented employees that are promoted or seek new positions within our organization.
