The R.I. Department of Transportation has awarded $1.5 billion in contracts for 77 active construction projects through RhodeWorks. Here are the 25 largest projects:

3. Route 37 bridges (total of 15 bridges), Warwick and Cranston, $58.9 million
4. Interstate 295 bridges, over Routes 6 and 6A, Johnston, $42.6 million
5. Smith Street Bridge, over I-95, Providence, $30.6 million
6. Broad Street South Bridge over I-95 and I-95 bridge over Elmwood Avenue, Providence, $26.8 million

16. Victory Highway Bridge, Route 102 over I-95, West Greenwich, $19 million
