BRISTOL – A six-part architectural studies series will take place in August, led by architectural historian John Tschirch.
The series will explore the varying architecture of Bristol buildings, from the monumental to the modest, according to a news release.
The illustrated lectures will be held on Thursday evenings, followed by three walking tours on Saturdays. The program is sponsored by the Bristol Historical Society and Linden Place Mansion.
The schedule will include lectures on colonial to federal styles, the Georgian and Greek revival, Victorian era and other periods. Walking tours will take in the examples of each surviving style.
For the full schedule, and more information, visit the Linden Place website.
