NEWPORT – Rhode Island Marine Trades Association and the Composites Alliance of Rhode Island will host a combined-member meeting on Feb. 4 at the IYRS School of Technology & Trades.

The program includes networking with industry colleagues; a tour of the IYRS Brooks Building, which houses the school’s Digital Modeling & Fabrication, Composite Technology and Marine Systems programs; a legislative update with Andy Tyska, president of Bristol Marine; and a speaking portion by Jay Coogan, IYRS president.

Pizza, wine and beer will be served.

The event is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the building tour at 6:15 p.m. There is no cost to attend but RSVPs are requested.
