PROVIDENCE – The Roger Williams Park Botanical Center’s Love in Bloom benefit gala opening has been rescheduled from Wednesday, February 13 at 6 p.m. to Wednesday, March 7 at 6 p.m. due to the upcoming snowstorm.
Invited guests have been encouraged to wear something red as they get a sneak preview of the largest indoor public display garden in New England and enjoy a tropical evening in the middle of February.
The 12,000 square foot facility, which is scheduled to open to the public on March 2, 2007, houses a colorful array of exotic flowers, rare plants, waterfalls and unique exhibits.
Proceeds from the Love in Bloom will benefit the Botanical Center’s education programs and support the construction of the outdoor gardens. The event is sponsored by Rhode Island Monthly, Fidelity Investments, Fleet Construction Co., Inc., and Fine Catering by Russell Morin.
