PROVIDENCE – Verizon Fios customers in Rhode Island signing up for the Fios Gigabit Connection fiber-optic network will get a free year of Amazon Prime, Verizon announced.
For customers who already have Amazon Prime – with its free delivery and other perks at online retailer Amazon.com Inc. – Verizon will cover next year’s Prime membership. Prime also offers access to games and movies.
For customers who sign up for a two-year service agreement with autopay for the Fios Gigabit Connection, custom TV and phone, Verizon offers the Prime membership as well as an Amazon Echo second-generation, Alexa-enabled audio speaker.
