WARWICK – Electronics manufacturer VR Industries Inc. has announced its acquisition of Quantum Pure Aire Products. Financial details were not revealed.
Quantum, which has been in Warwick for 20 years, will move into the VR Industries’ location, the company said.
“With VR’s extensive experience in high technology, and reputation for quality, the acquisition … was a sound decision,” said Fred Pestana, president of VR Industries.
The company plans to expand Quantum’s line of low-level, ozone-generating air purification systems, which are used to eliminate mold and odors in nursing homes, boats and motor vehicles and auto dealerships as well as in disaster restoration.
