WESTERLY – The Washington Trust Co. looks to continue to bolster mortgage banking in the Massachusetts area and last week announced the hiring of Jeffrey E. Moynihan as private mortgage banker.
Moynihan, formerly a lending officer at Bank of America in Boston, will focus on drumming up business in the Newton-Wellesley area of Massachusetts.

“In his position, Moynihan will work closely with the network of real estate, financial and building professionals to assist homeowners in all aspects of the home-buying process, from application to closing,” according to a press release.
