WESTERLY – A two-bedroom condo with a loft and ocean views sold recently for $1.1 million, the second-highest condo sale in the town this year, according to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, which represented the sellers.
The property, at 1 Kettle Close, is in the Winnapaug Cottages neighborhood, a community of detached condos for residents aged 55 and up. The neighborhood was established in 2006.
Winnapaug Cottages is a sister community to Champlin Woods, which is under construction. Altogether, the two communities will have 56 condos, with eight being built this year and eight to be built in 2020.
The area is near Misquamicut.
