PROVIDENCE – WaterFire released its 2011 season schedule Wednesday afternoon ahead of a partial lighting this evening, scheduled for 8:30 to 11 p.m.
The first full lighting will be on May 28. There are currently 11 fires on the 2011 schedule, including an event April 27th. The organization is “actively” seeking sponsors to have more fires this season.

The 2011 Season Schedule:
- May 18th Partial lighting, sunset: 8:02 p.m.
- May 28th Full fire, sunset: 8:09 p.m.
- June 3rd Full fire, sunset: 8:14 p.m.
- July 2nd Full fire, sunset: 8:24 p.m.
- July 16th Full fire, sunset: 8:19 p.m.
- July 30th Full fire, sunset: 8:07 p.m.
- August 13th Full fire, sunset: 7:50 p.m.
- Sept. 10th Full fire, sunset: 7:05 p.m.
- Sept. 24th Full fire, sunset: 6:41 p.m.
- Oct. 8th Full fire, sunset: 6:17 p.m.
Fires are lit 20 minutes after sunset and remain lit until midnight.
