PROVIDENCE – Webster Bank is offering perks to essential health care workers and first responders through its newly launched “Frontline Heroes” program, according to a news release.
The program includes a range of financial benefits for eligible participants, including no monthly maintenance fee on checking accounts and free ATM withdrawals through December 2021. Customers can also earn a cash incentive, as well as additional discounts and benefits, the release stated.

Webster has also committed to donating $250 to United Way of Rhode Island’s COVID-19 Response Fund for every new customer in the program.
The program applies to any full- or part-time essential health care workers – including those in hospitals, nursing homes, medical and dental practices, and home health care – as well as first responders.
