WARWICK – Braving threatening skies and occasional rain drops, 375 business leaders, co-workers, family and friends celebrated the 2019 class of 40 Under Forty honorees Thursday evening.

The event, the 15th time that Providence Business News has recognized the next generation of the region’s business leaders, was once again held at Aldrich Mansion in Warwick.

Each of the 17 women and 23 men who were chosen from nearly 150 applicants in fields that ranged from snow removal (Jason Case) to emergency alarm systems (Richard Grundy) to someone holding two jobs – City Council member for Providence and administrator for Brown University (Nirva LaFortune) to the founder of a dermatology institute (Dr. Caroline Change) have proven professional accomplishment while showing the potential to grow their influence on the local business scene.
