PROVIDENCE – Three Rhode Island restaurants were named to OpenTable’s 2019 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, the company announced Wednesday.
Bouchard Restaurant and Inn in Newport, The Dining Room at Castle Hill Inn in Newport and Gracie’s in Providence made the list this year.
Restaurants in 32 states were represented this year. Ohio was the most-represented state on the list with nine restaurants.
The list was generated by diner reviews collected from Dec. 1, 2017, through Nov. 20, 2018.
“These 100 restaurants excel at setting the table for romance and creating intimate dining experiences at every service,” said Caroline Potter, chief dining officer at OpenTable. “Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with a new special someone, a spouse or even a friend, you can count on this list to find not only a restaurant with the right ambiance but also an exceptional meal.”
In 2018, both Bouchard Restaurant and Inn and Gracie’s made the list as Rhode Island’s two inclusions.
