Smoking cessation program at Westerly Hospital

WESTERLY – Westerly Hospital’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department periodically offers a smoking cessation program called “Freedom from Smoking.” Sessions are held at the hospital for seven consecutive Tuesdays, and one additional session is held on a Thursday during “Quit Week.” Facilitated by Westerly Hospital respiratory therapists trained in the American Lung Association program, the program provides participants with tools and strategies to recover from tobacco addiction and help them quit smoking for good.

The cost is $25 per person to cover the cost of materials; for more information, contact
