FALL RIVER – Bristol Community College is seeking area businesses to participate in a cybersecurity focus group, as it plans a new cybersecurity degree program, the college said in a press release.
BCC wants to investigate local businesses’ cyber needs and determine how to address those specific needs with its workforce-training program. Focus-group organizers plan to ask companies how they currently meet cybersecurity needs; how many professionals they have in the field and details on their industry credentials; if there is a need in the organization for further IT training on trends and if that need is outsourced.
