ALTUS, OK, Jul. 15—Altus, OK-based Turbines, Inc. has appointed Kevin D. Clark general manager of its wholly owned subsidiary Turbines R&D in Seneca, SC. Turbines, Inc. is an affiliate of Primary Flow Signal, Inc. based in Cranston. Clark retains his current responsibilities as director of mechanical engineering – Engineered Turbine Meter Group.
Turbines R&D is the research and technical support arm of Turbines, Inc., which fabricates turbine-type flow meters, monitors, related equipment and replacement parts and offers reconditioning and application assistance services. The company’s products are used to measure liquid and vapor flow in a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas and chemical, worldwide. Turbines, Inc. recently introduced a new line of metering equipment specially designed and manufactured for the cryogenic market.
Clark, who joined Turbines R&D in 2009, earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University in 2004. He reports to Karen Downing, executive director of Turbines, Inc., Bruce Briggs, president, and Dezi Halmi, executive vice president.
“In addition to directing new product development, we are looking for Kevin to help expand our support and sophistication in technical sales and service for our existing and rapidly expanding new business areas,” said Downing.
