RESOURCE CONTROLS LEAD ENGINEER DESIGNER FOR MIXED-USE VILLAGE CENTER DEVELOPMENT, RICHMOND COMMONS
October 30, 2014, Pawtucket, Rhode Island: Resource Controls was hired to represent the new Richmond Commons mixed use development as the Lead Engineer Designer on the project in Richmond, Rhode Island. The development is located off of 138 in Richmond and the final project will occupy 300 acres of the current site. Resource Controls was hired to design the layout and infrastructure of the Retail-Commercial and Residential development areas. The commercial area will include a Village Center, which will consist of approximately 600,000 square feet of retail, office and commercial space. A separate road will lead to the residential part of the development, which will have its own community center, and will overlook the commercial area. The residential component of the site will consist of roughly 400 units. The project also includes over 47 acres of donated land to the Town of Richmond for use as recreational space and conservation land.
