Halliwell chooses Provdotnet for data center, internet services

EAST PROVIDENCE – Halliwell Engineering Associates has chosen Provdotnet LLC as provider of its data center co-location and internet services, Provdotnet announced.

Zopon Harris, information technology manager at Halliwell, said the company’s past provider closed its Boston facility where company equipment was housed. With Provdotnet, here in the Ocean State, exceeding Halliwell’s security and availability requirements, it was a clear choice as a Tier 3 data center co-location service provider, he said.

“Provdotnet exceeded our security and availability requirements with SSAE SOC2-audited facilities in Rhode Island,” Harris said in a statement. “Their existing customers told us about their solid track record.”

With 10 U.S. locations, the engineering and architectural firm specializes in building-damage investigations and solutions for repair and replacement.
