“The concept is to have a holistic wellness program, so we strive to incorporate not only physical wellness but also emotional and financial wellness too,” said Elaine Medina, assistant vice president of human resources.
Medina enjoys taking advantage of chair yoga through the wellness webinars and treadmill walks in the gym. The wide range and flexibility of Greenwood’s wellness offerings have helped Medina stay on top of her healthy regimen.
“I can make it work around the time that I have available,” Medina said.
Other employees appreciate it, too. Greenwood’s wellness program has gone from 20% participation a couple years ago to around 70% this year, Medina says.
