PROVIDENCE – Stephen Tetzner, a principal at Homestar Mortgage Inc., has been ranked the top mortgage originator in Rhode Island for 2010 by industry trade publication Origination News.
In the publication’s June 2011 edition, Tetzner also ranked as the 29th most successful loan producer nationwide.

Tetzner, vice president of Homestar, which has offices in Providence and South Kingstown, recorded more than 300 loans in 2010 worth more than $98 million. He was the only Rhode Island originator to rank in the top 150 nationwide.
The financial information was culled from an online survey of both commercial and residential producers from across the country.
Homestar said Tetzner has more than 16 years of experience and more than $1 billion in overall mortgage volume.
