PORTSMOUTH – A2B Tracking Solutions Inc. said the U.S. Department of Defense has selected its Item Unique Identification asset identification system for another U.S. Army depot.
The contract is worth $1.7 million and finishes on Dec. 31; A2B partnered with the University of Alabama’s Reliability and Failure Analysis Lab Research Institute.
A2B’s IUID system has been implemented at the Red River and Letterkenny depots and will be used for Army Material Command 21st Theater Sustainment Command at Pirmasens, Germany.
The contract calls for A2B to provide an integrated IUID solution to include a data capture program for legacy assets, and its marking, tacking and registration support data management and tracking software, UID Comply!
