PROVIDENCE-BASED EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM Acertitude LLC has witnessed a 30% growth in the past year, and more than 80% in the past two years.

The company attributes its success to a “laser focus” on client relationships, “bringing a better process and client experience to a sophisticated buyer,” said Kevin O’Neill, Acertitude’s co-founder and managing partner.

Another key component to its growth is its focus on private equity. “Private equity is a core competency for the firm, representing over 60% of our engagements,” O’Neill said.

Its growth in private equity received high accolades, including Hunt Scanlon’s Private Equity Recruiting Power 75.

Acertitude faced the COVID-19 pandemic with consistent resilience. O’Neill said that while the company has seen the industry decline by an average of 30% to 50% over the last few months, Acertitude achieved – even exceeded – its plan.
