Aimee Mitchell has been promoted to senior vice president, programs and operations/ Head Start director at Children’s Friend. Mitchell served as administrator of programs since joining the nonprofit in 2007, and was named director of Head Start in 2009. She holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from Smith College and graduated from the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Head Start Management Fellows Program. ̶ •
