What is the biggest challenge currently facing your industry and how are you responding to it? Volatility in raw materials such as tea and coffee is causing a constant challenge on our industry. In marketing, it’s my role to ensure we are constantly evaluating our cost of goods sold, pricing and margin. Even managing the impact of tariffs and creation of management programs falls under my responsibility.

What is the best advice you have ever received? Give praise and take blame.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Personally, as a happy father and husband who continues to be involved in my kids’ lives through participation in their activities, coaching and spending time with them. Professionally, as having built a strong marketing team that clearly demonstrates its return on investment in its activity. I envision myself to have earned consideration for a C-suite role.
What was your first job? I was a media/public relations intern for the New York Jets.
What is your favorite Rhode Island food or drink? I think I’m obligated to say Autocrat Coffee Milk. Although Whaler’s Rise IPA makes a compelling case.
