PROVIDENCE – Bank Rhode Island recently hired Joelle Moyer as senior vice president of commercial banking, the bank announced.
Moyer joins the bank’s commercial lending team, where she will support the growth and long-term success of local businesses.

In her role, Moyer manages an existing portfolio of clients and focuses on developing new business relationships within the local market, the bank said. She offers a full range of commercial banking services, including financing solutions, lending, and cash and deposit management.
Prior to joining BankRI, Moyer was senior vice president of business banking and senior client manager at Bank of America Corp. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from State University of New York and earned her MBA in finance from Bryant University.
BankRI CEO and President Will Tsonos said Moyer’s hiring reflects the bank’s ongoing focus on hiring seasoned financial professionals to support the local economy and drive business growth.

Moyer is a resident of Cranston and active in the community through her work with Habitat for Humanity and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
