There will be an open house “grand opening” at the new Plymouth branch on Thursday, July 18.
BayCoast Mortgage describes itself as a “mortgage company within the walls of a bank.”
In addition to the products a typical mortgage lender can provide, BayCoast has the unique ability to offer common sense solutions through their lending portfolio, the company said. That provides “the best of both worlds,” the company added, to customers, business partners and the community. Decision-making and underwriting in the mortgage process are done locally.
“We’re thrilled to have found a home in Cranberry Crescent,” said Kevin Chase, vice president/producing branch manager for BayCoast Mortgage. “The location is convenient for our clients and business partners alike. We’re extending an invitation to come visit us and discover how we can assist real estate agents and borrowers throughout the homebuying and refinancing process.”
The company said walk-in preapproval hours at the Plymouth branch will be Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon or by appointment.
The company said clients will need to bring in a packet of required documents and will be able to walk out with a preapproval letter. The staff there can also provide walk-in clients with recommendations for a local real estate agent, attorney, builder, or home inspector.
“With the shift to online lending and call centers within the mortgage industry, many consumers are losing the bond and expertise of a local lender,” the company said. “BayCoast Mortgage knows that when their customers have the option of having an in-person meeting with their loan officer in a boutique setting, it can help them to feel much more comfortable with a process that should be an exciting one.”
