How has your company adapted programs and services in response to evolving pandemic-related challenges such as staff burnout and workforce shortages? In response to the pandemic, Baystate adapted by offering Zoom meetings for staff and clients. Remote/hybrid workplace options were given to associates. We provided COVID-19 testing kits and staff could go to vaccination appointments during the workday without taking paid-time-off time. To keep staff engaged during the pandemic, Baystate sent staff appreciation gifts such as gift cards to GrubHub and delicious whoopie pies to their homes.
What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Baystate sponsors sports leagues that associates participate in such as bowling, soccer and softball. We host annual associate outings to things such as comedy shows, bowling nights and river cruises.
How would you describe the culture of your workplace? Our culture is positive, people work hard, folks are held accountable and it is a family-oriented place to work.
