As we celebrate our 70th anniversary, I look back at how much we have changed and how much we have remained the same compared to the company my grandfather, Bill Artesani, started in his garage in the Aqueduct neighborhood of Cranston in 1949.
Over the years we have gone from being a one-man residential painting company to a commercial painting company, taking on projects all over New England, to the full-service residential remodeling and painting company we are today.
And yet, we remain the same business he founded: family-oriented internally with a dedication to doing quality work at a fair price for our customers. These qualities are timeless and are the cornerstone of our success.
I have learned that this course depends on our ability to find and develop a staff that supports that family atmosphere, and internalizes our goals and vision. Our employees take great pride in their work, and it shows.
One way we know that this approach is working is the fact that many of our team members have been with us for more than 20 years. One of our foremen brought two of his sons to work with us. More than half of our staff has a family member working for the company. So not only is it the Artesani family, but it is all the other families that are invested in our success.
Through 70 years we have remained true to our roots, allowing the extended Artesani “family” to deliver the same results as we did in 1949.
