BlumShapiro announced several personnel changes in its Providence office, as the firm welcomed two new employees and promoted six more.
Joining the firm are Audit Supervisor Mark McKiernan and Senior Staff Accountant Ralph Gigliotti.
McKiernan formerly worked at Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co. as a Senior Auditor. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters Degree in Accounting. Gigliotti graduated from Bryant University with a bachelors degree in accounting. He previously worked as a Principal at Legacy Valuation Services in Rhode Island.
“Mark and Ralph are experienced, versatile, hard-working professionals with proven track records,” Greg Cabral, Managing Partner of BlumShapiro’s Providence office said. “We’re very happy to welcome each of them to our growing team here in Rhode Island, and we’re looking forward to their contributions.”
Other changes in the Providence office involve the following promotions: Jeremy Brayer and Michael Distefano were each promoted to managerial roles. Jacob Peterson was promoted to a supervising role. Finally, Jen Douglas, Jamie Potvin and Kim Short each earned senior status.
