Brenda L. Whorf has been appointed assistant vice president and branch manager of Bank of Newport’s Stone Bridge office. She is responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. Whorf joined the bank in 2001 as business development officer. She is a member of the Bristol Rotary Club, the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, the Fall River Chamber of Commerce and the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. Whorf earned a bachelor’s degree from Bryant College. She lives in Warwick.
