TAUNTON, Mass. – Bristol County Savings Bank through its charitable foundation recently donated more than $85,000 to 13 nonprofits in northern Rhode Island, according to a release.
The grants, awarded at a ceremony in conjunction with the charitable foundation’s 25th anniversary, were part of a larger pool of $370,000 given to 37 organizations including those in Massachusetts.

Rhode Island recipients and funding are as follows:
● $15,000 for Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket;
● $10,000 for Rhode Island Community Food Bank;
● $9,600 for the Arc of Bristol County;
● $7,500 for Boys & Girls Clubs of northern Rhode Island;
● $7,500 for Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra & Music School;
● $6,000 for Children’s Workshop Foundation;
● $5,000 for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rhode Island;
● $5,000 for Books are Wings;
● $5,000 for Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation;
● $5,000 for Hasbro Children’s Hospital Cystic Fibrosis Center;
● $5,000 for St. Cecilia’s School;
● $3,750 for Boys Town New England; and
● $1,500 for Cumberland School Volunteers.
Since the foundation was formed, it has donated more than $25 million to various nonprofits, including $2.2 million in 2021.
