PROVIDENCE – John Chenard, one of the founders of Provdotnet LLC – a provider of specialized data centers, internet and internet protocol connectivity – was named general manager of Provdotnet’s new hosted services line of business. Chenard will also serve as chief technology officer of the company and its affiliate, IronTrust Networks, Provdotnet announced in a press release.
Chenard assumed his new role on Jan. 2.
He and Ron Sacks founded Provdotnet in 2008. Chenard has subsequently worked at Retail Solutions Inc., Atrion and Carousel Industries, in various roles.
“We are extremely pleased to have John back in a senior operating capacity and technical leadership role,” said Sacks, CEO of both Provdotnet and IronTrust. “John knows our business model extremely well and is a highly regarded leader in the regional IT community.”
