Costa, Camara join Rockland Trust

PROVIDENCE – Peter Costa and Robert Camara have joined Rockland Trust as vice presidents of commercial lending in the bank’s Providence commercial lending office.
The two vice presidents will help manage the commercial banking operations in Rhode Island, including loans, deposits and other services for primarily middle market companies.
“We are delighted to have Peter and Robert join the Rockland Trust team,” Rockland Trust President and CEO Christopher Oddleifson said in a written release. “I have no doubt that both individuals’ deep knowledge of the Providence market coupled with their highly personalized approach to commercial lending will position Rockland Trust for future success.”
Before joining Rockland Trust, Costa served as vice president of Bank of America. Costa graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s and earned a master’s in public policy from Georgetown University. He lives in Barrington.
Camara is the former vice president of Sovereign Bank. He earned bachelor’s and master’s from Providence College. He lives in East Greenwich.
