What support programs has your company offered employees to help cope with the COVID-19 pandemic? Our employees have always been encouraged to speak with their manager and human resources team if they are ever in need of support. The pandemic has added a new level to their stress. We continue to have an open-door policy, and will arrange for help for employees who find themselves in need.

Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We really want Custom Computer Specialists to be a company where employees have a career, not just a job. The average tenure of our employees is 10 years. If you look across our team, there are very few people who are performing the same role for which they were hired.
What was a new employee benefit or initiative in the past 12 months? Cross-team collaboration is an important part of our culture. Over the past year, we’ve introduced a series of quarterly, after-work employee events, focused on having fun, socializing and celebrating our wins as a team. These events have included Dave & Buster’s scavenger hunts, paint night, and an escape room.
