What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Casual dress workdays when not meeting with clients or public officials or appearing in court or before another administrative body. Movie/music trivia contests. Employee appreciation events, including fun runs, sports nights, birthday dinners, or even an overnight at Foxwoods. We also created DE Playlists for everyone to enjoy both at work and outside of work (team members submit their favorite songs and work playlists are compiled and hosted on Apple Music or Spotify).
Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? Whenever we have the opportunity, we promote from within. We often have people join our firm either as interns, new graduates or in other junior-level positions. Our goal is to have team members with less experience grow with us, become substantial contributors to the firm and its clients, and have DE serve as a rewarding and long-term career path for them.
