What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? We stage an annual firmwide retreat to further strengthen our connectivity as a team. In recent years, we’ve gone to places such as Stratton Mountain in Connecticut, Foxwoods and coastal Massachusetts. It’s a great way to give back.
Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We do both. Promoting from within rewards our current staff for jobs well done, and hiring from the outside brings in expertise for practices that are new or emerging. The latter helps our existing staff to grow and learn.
Describe a new employee benefit(s) or initiative(s) your company has launched in the past 12 months. Our firm offers employees a $100 credit each quarter to cover wellness-related expenses – gym memberships, stationary bikes, yoga, etc. Physical fitness provides so many benefits, and we’re happy to support it. We also now offer pet insurance.
